MB Herald Promotes the Spread of Contemplative Spirituality through Missions

As we shine the light on the January 2011 MB Herald, we notice that they are once again promoting the Mark Centre, a contemplative retreat centre in B.C., Canada, which is affiliated with the BC Conference of Mennonite Brethren churches. Pictured among the participants in ‘Missionaries retreat to listen to God’ (p 18) are missionaries who will now be teaching what they have learned about contemplative spirituality on the mission field.
